Privacy Policy

Short version: BeeAssets is built privacy-first. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal information or financial data.

1. What we collect

Nothing. BeeAssets does not collect any personal data. There is no account system, no email signup, and no analytics that identify you. All your portfolio data lives only on your device.

2. What stays on your device

Your asset list, transactions, settings, and any backups you create are stored in an encrypted SQLite database (SQLCipher) on your phone. The encryption key is generated locally and stored in the OS keychain (Keychain on iOS, Keystore on Android). We never see this data.

3. Network requests

BeeAssets makes anonymous requests to a Cloudflare Worker gateway (bee-gateway.sunxiaoyes.workers.dev) to fetch real-time prices, historical charts, and exchange rates. These requests contain only a symbol (e.g. "NVDA", "BTC") and a category — no user identifiers, no IP-based tracking. The gateway forwards to public market data sources (Yahoo, CoinGecko, Binance, eastmoney, frankfurter.app) and returns aggregated quotes. Standard server access logs at Cloudflare are retained for at most 30 days for abuse prevention.

4. Subscriptions

BeeAssets uses RevenueCat to manage Pro subscriptions, which in turn relies on Apple App Store and Google Play. RevenueCat may collect anonymized device identifiers and purchase events as part of its standard SDK behavior. These do not include any portfolio data. 5. Permissions

BeeAssets does not actively request access to your photos, camera, microphone, contacts, or location. Some bundled libraries reference these system APIs and require Info.plist declarations under Apple guidelines, but the app code never invokes them. The optional App Lock feature uses the system Face ID / Touch ID / passcode prompt — no biometric data leaves your device.

6. Children

BeeAssets is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect any data from minors.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
